Service Description

Ideal for authors who have finished the first draft of their story, and want to check for story continuity and potential plot holes. We will review your manuscript and provide detailed comments throughout, noting any places where the plot or characters are not fully developed and where the pacing and flow of the story does not work. We may provide suggestions or options for addressing these issues if there are solutions that are suggested by other pieces of the story. After you receive the annotated draft, you can schedule an optional post-edit review session to answer any questions you may have regarding the edit, and to discuss or develop potential solutions. What's included: - Full read through of completed manuscript - Full annotation of manuscript pointing out any trouble areas from both a developmental and line editing perspective - Critical evaluation of world building, character development, plot points, and general pacing of the story - Optional post edit review session to discuss trouble areas that were noted and address any questions you may have - Additional brainstorming and troubleshooting during post edit review to help you decide the best solution for problem areas if desired *Since the turnaround time for these edits can vary based on word count, the review session can not be booked until after the final edits are sent to the author. We will provide an estimated turnaround time when your draft is submitted, and will provide updates if there will be any changes to that timeframe during editing. You will receive a link to book your review session when you receive the final edits. This gives you a chance to review the annotations and compile any questions for the editor prior to the review session.
